Need Help with Aeroforce Interceptor for 2.2

I just got my Interceptor gauge from Parts for your Car (CN401)
I know that some of the parameters won't work with my vehicle specifically (It shuts down after 5 seconds) but I tried many different parameters like rpm, throttle percent, engine load, Hp, Knock and many more with no success.
I'm now selecting rpm and Engine Load and it does not shut down and reset until about 3 minutes or so
In scan mode the display shows the 2 parameters that I select but no numbers are showing up just a blank
Should I just leave in plugged in for a couple of days?
What do I do next?
Any Help would be appreciated

hmm, that type of stuff should show up right away as all its doing is displaying what the ECU is reading...

I would probably direct this question to Aeroforce, doesn't sound right.

Did you get the actual 2.2L gauge? Or did you get the one designed for the SS?

General Motors
Cobalt 2005 - present 2.2L, 2.4L CAN BUS
It's the right one but this could be a defective part. I just tried nearly all the parameters and none work. I stays on for only a minute or so and then shuts down. Some parameters will shut down in less that 3 sec after selecting scan mode I assume those are not supported.
E-mailed Aeroforce

This model aeroforce gauge is for the 2.2/2.4 cobalts not like the SS model
It gets it's power from the Diagnostic port according to the instructions

It doesn't need a ground, all you do is plug in the OBD II plug, and everything should work perfectly from there. Mine does, but I do have an 07, and I heard that there are problems with the 05-06 2.2L's.

Does your gauge have the option of changing your logo to say: SS Edition?
I'm wondering if this is the SS model with the wrong part number label on the back
of the gauge.

Yeah, my start up screen can be changed from several different screens. SS, Pontiac, Aeroforce Interceptor, and a couple others.

And yes, all you do is plug in the OBD II plug, and you are good to go. Mine even read everything on the first start up, it didn't need a couple days like most people's do.

Ok thanks for clearing that up for me
It might need a re-flash is what I'm thinking
PFYC has good customer service so I'll wait to see what they tell me

aeroforcetech.com

Post on their technical forum, those guys are really knowledgable and helpful. When I bought my gauge, they shipped me a 2.2 gauge. It only took a couple of posts there and the correct gauge was on my doorstep in two weeks.

They might be able to help you out.
