anyone know a cheap place to get a full engine and transmission from? im bout to stop being lazy and buy a new motor for the cobalt and get the bitch outta my driveway

 

i got you, but as you already know they are not cheap. buyer backed out on me due to life getting in the way. turbo was pulled and is waiting to be sold. i'd even drive it out to you, take a train home.

ive been on there as well. im just browsin to see what else is out there

 

looks like i most likely will end up dropping in a stock 2.2 and stock trans back in the car. got some hits on the built goods.

good luck with finding what you need. i have had great experiences with Morad Motors on ebay. they do all chevy fwd great prices too.

 

ima try them then. thanks. hopefully your parts sell. if i was interested in fixin the cobalt back up and turbo'ing it again, id def by your parts.

last i checked the junk yards in my area didnt have them, that was months ago tho. im overseas right now and cant check but i will def do when i get back home
