just ordered a drop-in replacement filter from k&n last night, part #23-3311 i believe haha. i can't wait to hear the sound it makes with the airbox mod (if any) and feel the slight difference in performance (if any)! anyways, i was just wondering if the filter will be ready to drop-in or if i will have to "charge it"? i didnt see anything on the website when i ordered the filter, so if someone knows please share with me. thanks!

 

it will be ready to go straight outta the box. to charge a k&n filter means to clean it .... which you wont have to do for a while.

 

i put it in last night, sound from the airbox mod is just a tad bit deeper and revs are about the same. good buy though

 

now save up $30 and get the ebay cold air intake HAHA! fake turbo sound ahoy!
