This one of the few threads I look for when I visit the site. You are likely the only one here who truly shares my pain.

Glad to see it is moving along but to be honest snails can out race you and I when it comes to 'progress'

Thanks for the pictures

I would say the same for your thread Rodd! No one else who owns a Cobalt like ours knows the pain....it's been hell lol. Even today I got a good new / bad news thing.....intercool / charge pipes / up pipe are done....but the header that I'm using is so old that it's cracking from the weight of the turbo
.. so I will have to have him make one tomorrow.

Yes, snails would beat us in this race....but I'm not quitting. Glad to hear from you again man and thanks for the comment.

Hope you have your box of tissues handy....

So what's next you ask? Now the car goes back to the regular shop and we start to put all the pieces together. Still going to take a little bit...but things are looking good again finally!

The original one that I purchased many years ago has not ran. However, it was taken apart to prevent stretch and of course check out things.

The one that is currently in the car and in the photos you see above, is the mock / backup motor with a stock head. The first motor I purchased is true backup to bullet number 1. There is one other backup motor as well that we have not shown photos of yet to make a total of 4. 2 4t65HD transmissions and 1 4t45.

The real deal heart was refreshed within the last couple months and we constantly are checking on the health of them.

Bullet No. 1

Bullet No. 2

Bullet No. 3

Id like to know who made / where they got the blanks for the lexan windshield and rear glass. I need to change mine out in the next year or so.
