OK dangit! Ryans Confused again HELP LOL

What the hell is this.

It looks like a damn header to me?

Are exhaust manifolds and headers synonymous? Where else would my exhaust hook up from 4 outlets

Yes, your exhaust manifold is your header.

its a ported stock manifold. only good if youre worried about your warranty, not hardly worth the money.

That is a header or manifold whichever you want to call it they all do the same thing. Usually a header is aftermarket and manifold is stock. That's the way i look at it.

I saw it and it was from a youtube video of somebody claiming he had this and headers. I was like ok i know I dont know a lot about cars, at least compared to you guys. I have basic logic, and as much as it may surprise you. I have 10 times more car knowledge than 80% of the population.

He probably meant the GMPP Cat back exhaust and the honed manifold.

And you can tell him its not a v-6 or v-8, we only have one header. :P

OK .. so I should be cool to claim full exhaust now! 2.5 magnaflow catback, pace setter header w/ header extension ( dont know if that plays down pipe or not) half the people say it will be the same as a down pipe other say it will be like 4 inches.

IF thats the case what about that foot or so of stock piping that the header will go into before going to my cat back?

and if i've went my whole life playing on 4 inches I should be OK. LOL >> WOW that was classy

Might as well explain the difference here now that you started.....(I think it would help ppl on this site) In case you don't - I believe that manifolds are 1 piece and headers are pieced together?
