Opinions on Motor Build

So my transmission needs to be replaced. The cobalt is my daily driver and I wanted as little down time as possible. I figured that I would need to pull the motor pretty much anyways, so what better time to upgrade for my M62

Within 50 miles of my home is a junkyard 07 L61. So it's a Gen II block. At the same yard is a new transmission as well. I wanted to use the Gen II block, Wiesco Pistons and eagle rods.

A buddy of mine brought up the idea of running a Forged Crank while i was at it, but wasn't sure if it would be worth upgrading.

I have a complete M62 build that's ready to go on once the transmission is fixed. The thought was to run at least a 2.8" pulley with Meth and Dual Pass.

Opinions or options?

You wont need a forged crank. If you get a rod piston combo, let us know, we can price match most places PM us when you are ready to purchase.
