opinions needed for future 2.2 tvs build

Im going to be eventually building up my 2.2 sc to be able to handle the power to add a TVS blower and go with the smallest pulley possible. now my question is what should, or would you guys recommend me doing to my engine before, and what would you guys recommend to get to put out as much power as i possibly can? thanks for the help

lol no rhyme intended. i liked the sound of the blower too but i got bored of the power of the m62. i planned to do a tvs but wanted the gas mileage of the turbo when i'm not in boost. you're gonna want new axles too.

Port head, valve springs, rods, pistons, neutral or delete balance shafts, get meth or run E85.

Yeah definitely will need internals. I'd do a fresh motor. It's not that pricey. But you will need axles. And meth is a good idea. I would just go with rods/pistons crank will be fine. I can help you with the balance shaft delete if you need. I deleted mine for 50cents. F those expensive kits.

you can get plenty of gas mileage out of a sc car when not in boost

You need only worry about the balance shaft if you are going to be revving the engine up there for long periods. The stock ecu only maps ups to 8125 rpm but the nbs or balance shaft delete would be something to think about if you're going to be doing 7500+ rpm for long periods or frequently.
Valve springs go without saying at that point if spinning that fast anyway.
It is said the stock ones float at 7.1/7.2k rpm

Put a stock pulley on the TVS and you can get away with no engine work right away.

oh yeah I forgot about those lol. Since you are on meth I would go 80s.

For plugs run NGK LTR6IX-11

Not sure that you would need 80s.

Easier part number for that plug is 6509. Its a big gap too .044

80s are needed for man size pulley

Besides they'll give some breathing room if he changes setups later on (i.e. turbo)
