optimum exhast diameter

alright this christmas ill be buying a 2.4 mani, gmpp intake, and catback exhaust with a borla muffler. this will prob be as far as i go with the performance mods on my 08 l61. question is... what diameter should i get the catback, 2.25 inch or 2.5 inch. im thinking 2.25 since i wont be going f/i or adding any more bolt ons. what do u guys think?

2.25 would be just fine that way you wont lose too much low end. Also getting a intake is fine but you should also get a header and downpipe to go along with your exhaust and then finally finish off with a tune to get the maximum out of your mods.
