Mine will go up to like 220-225 and then the fan will kick in and it will go back down to 190 in a few min. But thats only if its middle of summer like 80 degrees or more and im beating the crap out of it lol.

If it that's what it peaks at before going back down I wouldn't be too worried, but if you're worried there isn't any harm in asking a mechanic at the dealership.

ORT- That really doesn't make sense, considering I live in Arizona, and temperatures are already well into the 90's. I still haven't gotten over 205 F. And I don't exactly take it easy everywhere. Take off the plastic engine cover, your temperatures will drop a good 5 degrees.

I have the engine cover off. And its gotten that high. I dunno...haha thats with my old radiator and the new one (hit a racconn and had to get it replaced) Maybe it just depends on the car?

these engines run hot. it's nothing to worry about. the temp will go very high, especially if you're in traffic or lots of stop and go driving. there's nothing to really worry about untill you're over 240 or so. 225 is not bad, my car has been ther ea few times. once you start moving again it should go down.

Yeha mine does go down. I've only been over 225 once. That was when I hit the raccoon and had no coolant left lol. My fan stayed on for like 15 min. The temp got to 267. ******* animals lol

At 220, water boils, but under the pressure in the radiator, it will not boil until about 240. As long as it stays below 240, your cool.
Tip: If you turn on the AC when the temp begins to climb, the cooling fan will engauge and keep the temp in check, or you could wait untill it gets to 225 for the fan to kick on by itself.
