I know what the code means and i know i need to replace the solenoid but i just want to make sure this is the correct part...

That's what they look like. Save yourself the trouble and change both.

Where is this solenoid on the L61 out of curiosity? I am not familiar with it.

They aren't on an L61, only the newer VVT engines
