Ok this is my first post and glad i found this site..working on this for a girl who had the front end pushed in by a hitch of a truck then drove off. I had to replace the fan asembly new from dealer. I had to replace low cooling fan fuse. Plugged everything in and ran fine then i get p0481 fan 2 code . got a new relay and the fuse got hot and the fan tried to turn with car off ignition on. i check to see if temp sensor was reading and it was 190. Tried the old relay on fan 1 and it worked so its not the relay .I think i have a bad ground but dont know where to look . Only ground i see is on driver side. I am very mecanical but not very good with wire shorts.. also with ignition on i put the relay in( fan2 )and put the test light to each prong(4prong) it has power to all 4 ... fan 1 only has power to 2 prongs ..any help please.

I found the wiring diagrams after mine threw the P0480 code, Fan 1 Cooling Circuit.. Lemme see where I put them..

 

Not sure if it's the same but the code P0481 for the LNF is: Cooling fan 2 relay control circuit Code P0184 = circuit continuity - Open, Primary malfunction = Voltage.
