wow.. hate to be a *****.. but i cant stand it.. i think it sounds like a honda.. sorry i went for the 250 extra and bought a dc sport and i love the sound of that.. and i personally think it looks nicer sorry.. but you like it alot and thats all that matters

and yes spyder if u get a full catback exaust.. it will bolt right to the stock cat... 25 min install if u have the right tools.. mine took me about 20 mins because i was working on a hot car, and i have a lift in my garage.. that was a life saver

I think there needs to be a section dedicated to exhaust and intakes. It's probably the most common mod to the motor, and plenty of types, and sound is evidentally a big thing for everyone. What's everyone think? Search for posts is a pain, cause there's 10 posts on the same exhaust system. Sound is what's going to sell me on one. I didn't buy a 145hp car for performance... I have more stock power on my bike.

Its cool, to each their own ya know. But do you have a pic of your exhaust? cuz to me.. if I remember right the thing I didn't like about the DC sport catback was the huge tip and coffee can sized muffler.... that to me looks like your mostly typical honda fanboy exhaust. Post some pics in here if u can. I'm curious.

there is a coffe can muffler but it isnt huge and u can hardly see it.. but it has an amezing sound.... an the tip is only 3.5 inches.. not a 2.25 pipe witth a little 3 inch walmart tip put over it so u can see the pipe that will rust out.. if u look in my Vb Garage,.... you can kind of see the muffler in the first picture..

My friend did a custom exaust on his cavi with al magnaflow and i dont like the sound of it too much either

keep in mind i got a cavalier

my car cold always had a rasp to it , and with the added high flow cat , and header , it got alot worse , and im talking almost as bad as some hondas

the 1 thing i never got with my magnaflow , is its 2 1/4" inlet muffler and 2 3/4" outlet

i know pacesetter is 2 1/2" in and out , and the tip is 3 1/2"

i wish i could find the links to my vid clips , you can hear how loud mine is

you think the thread starter has rasp , his is stock quiet compaired to mine

Do you havea magnaflow system, or just a muffler? And is this with the high flow cat? Cause doing anything with the cat will make a 4cyl car raspy. There's not a hint of "raspy" sound in any of the vids of the Magnaflow cat-back.

I think it sounds fine, and you can't beat the price. DC is too loud, it's like a Honda when it's VEETACH kicks in with 7" tip.

I can record a bit on my way to school tommorow in car if he never does.

if you guys want a nice exhaust for a 2.2 get a 2.0 ss exhaust and put on a different muffler and it will be perfect.
