Performance questions

I have a 2006 2.2 cobalt LT and I wanting to put in performance valve springs and a website that I was looking at listed them for 386 US dollars but my question is can I put in valve performance valve springs from an SS camaro or do I need to stick the valve springs made for the cobalt?

Your gona need to turn more RPM's in order to benifit from better valve springs. If you don't have any plans to go for more RPMs, they are a waste of money. That also means that your gona need new cams as the 2006 cam only makes good power until 6,000.

Agreed

The only reason that you would need better springs is if your gona rev the engine higher. With the stock cam, your not making good power above 6,000, and thus if you tuned it with a higher redline, say 7,000, you would not be making more power, and will probably be making less. You need a new cam before valve springs are even necessary.
