Yeah, bummed we missed 2 events this year, but trying to make sure we are 100% ready rather than rush out there and damage something again.

Yeaaaah. Same reason is has a radio, its required by the rule book. Also turn signals are useful when pulling off track so others know.

Nice numbers. Not bad for an unported head an a 2.9. We are switching back to Ignite Red and will be curious to see what the gains are.

And finally finished programming the UI and interfaces for the CD7 dash.

Headed to Buttonwillow next weekend for the first shakedown.

Curious to see how much different you will have to drive it now that you have a lot more power and rpms to play with. I'm guessing the TVs put you in another class?

What do you think cooked your stock valves?

Not enough fuel pressure. we have added another pump in the surge tank and plan to go to a 1/2" supply line shortly. Plus Trev now gave me a bigger badder cylinder head.....

Trust me, that's the plan. Neither of us is thrilled that we haven't run this season. But show me anyone else building a car that can run full song as long as ours needs to. One nice thing of going to the LS78 tb is its supported by AEM (unlike the LS4) so some of our idling issues have gone away thankfully.

So, I will have to post updates soon. Car is now going NASA TT racing. Brand new motor (no more L61). Cleaned up a lot on it. First event is hopefully next weekend at Sonoma and so hopefully I will have some time after that to post photos and new info

No more L61 mean you destroked? I still consider mine an L61 even though the only thing left out of the stock engine is the crank lol. Everything else is LSJ.

Went to a 2.4 Short Block and a tricked out 2.0 head. Just was having way too many problems with my 2.2, decided to start fresh with some other motors Trevor had in the shop

It should be even better with the slightly larger engine. Hope you can get it going and stay that way all year.

So, update. Car runs, and seems to run well. It's back with Trevor for some touch up work. Sadly it does not look like I will get on track at all this year with the car. A lot of un fun real world stuff going on, so there's just no money to spend on the car. And after 8 years of self funding, i won't do any more on plastic either to try and race.

Sorry to hear you have things going on. Sucks that you have spent all that time and money on it and can't even enjoy it this year. You didn't get much chance to enjoy it last year as I recall. Cars are money pits at times. Hope everything works out ok.

Yeah, I haven't really gotten to drive the car in over 2 years now, and I dunno when I'll get to. Life has a funny way of doing that to ya.
