A few weeks ago i was driving along slowed to make a turn when i pressed the gas again car had no power. Engine had a bad misfire I cleaned the throttle body, changed plugs and it ran fine up until Friday night it basically did the same thing stopped at a red light and it just lost power. I had the cel checked and 3 codes p0420, p0300, and something about the temp too low, changed thermostat, and plugs it ran fine for about five minutes then same thing, new plugs are smutted up and #2 is wet. Don't know what else to do anybody else had this problem, any suggestions on what it could be? 2006 ls 2.2 145,000 miles

 

when changing plugs did you mess up the coil pack?

 

sounds like your coil pack crapped out on you.

 

I was thinking coil pack or now that i'm doing research i'm seeing all of these post about the cat recall, would that possibly do it also?

 

could be either or.

 

If it is the coil pack I have a spare, LMK if you need it.

You said #2 was wet? What was on it? Gas? Water? Oil?
