i found this site that sold programmers. has anyone bought and used a programmer on their 2.2? did it change anything that was noticable?

Thats more like a dashhawk type product. It just monitors things its not gunna give you any hp gain.

 

well do you know of something that i am able to buy that will let me control it so i can make the adjustments?

 

do you know how well a trifecta tune works on a 06 ls 2.2? does it really open up a new worl of performance and kill mpg or does it keep mpg and give you performance which is hard to do?

 

Trifecta is a good tune.I picked up a good bit of low end an overall good performance gain.can't comment on mpg cuz I changed my wheel/tire set up an didn't check it before the tune but still get 27mpg city/highway driving on 235/40/18s

 

I have a trifecta tune and its worth it for sure. As for better fuel economy it has made a difference, but you gotta drive normal though lol, which you might not be able to do at first because the performance gains you get are very good. Plus the tune is what you want done so those adjustments are made once and thats it. The other option for a good tune is hp tuners, but keep in mind you gotta know your stuff to use that program as opposed to trifecta its just plug and play and your all done.
