PsychoCam's Turbo Build...Round 2
Well since I sold my last turbo kit I have decided to make a new thread on my new build. Things are coming together very well.
Parts I have:
Garret Alpha Kit (StevesBlack06)
GMPP Stage 2 42lb injectors w/ wiring harness ready to go (StevesBlack06)
Greddy Type RS BOV [running recirculating for now] (Craigslist)
Cobalt Series Boost Gauge [30vac,30psi] (Craigslist)
Autometer Oil Psi Gauge (Jn2)
3 Gauge Pillar (Jn2)
Innovate LC-1 Wideband [data logging w/ laptop] (Dead Zen)
Exedy Stage 2 Clutch (Ebay)
Exedy Lightweight Flywheel (Horsepowerfreaks.com)
New TOB (Gmpartsdirect)
Random fittings (Vulcanturbo & ATPturbo)
Misc parts from hardware store including:
- 5 foot of 9/32" vac line
- fittings for vac lines
Grand total so far is:
Aprox Around $3,500
So far everything is going as planned. I have talked to vince and whenever I am ready he will send out the tuner.
- Trifecta Tune w/ help of (o3nisoaso3)
Should be starting install hopefully within a month or so!

Update:
Got 99.9% of the kit in the mail today. Only thing I am waiting on is the intercooler. Should be shipped out tmrw!
Got the spark plugs
- ACDelco 12607280 41-105
Will be ordering my fitting from ATPturbo more than likely sometime next week.

I need the -6 large coolant tee the one that comes in the garret kit
The large fitting that goes into the boss for the oil drain
And the fitting that goes in the block for the oil feed. I believe it is a -3
Atpturbo says they have everything I need

Sorry, any spark plugs will do, just make sure they are a step colder and you gap them correctly.
Those AC Delcos will do, but are they stock or are they any colder than stock? You can buy a spark gapper at autozone/walmart for like a dollar. You just make sure the contact points on the spark plugs are spaced out the correct amount. .34 is what was recommended for my build by Vince, and I can't image yours being much different.

I am up college and the ic piping with bov is at home. All I did was use the same design as the stock bosch one and stick my greddy in the pipe and clamp it down with a small piece of rubber hose. about 1 1/4" long. Two hose clamps. It is really tight on there and I am going to recirculate it back just like stock design. For now or course till I re route maf and do atmospheric.
Funny u mention a spark plug gapper I have one on my key chain cause I think they look cool lol. So I will def check the gap in a lil bit. Getting ready to get some alcohol to get shwasted tonight haha.
IT IS MY B DAY Only one more year than I am legal to drink lol

haha well I am using the greddy as a recirculating so I am not re routing the maf. I am going to do that in the future so right now I am going to do the same as the stock bosch bov. Just with the greddy

looking soon I hope. Whenever my flywheel and tob come in as soon as I can I am getting my car to my buddies shop to do the clutch. The shop charges 350 and he is doing it there for 200 for me, so I think that is a good deal.
^MP how u like the new car...very jealous lol, did u get rid of your old one
