Will any of the aftermarket downpipes bolt up to the stock mani? I have the stupid SAI which makes getting a header practically impossible.

 

i say just get a used lsj DP its a HUGE inprovement over our stock ones. and it only cost around 50-60 bucks for 1

 

You can get any header you want as long as you get a tune to disable the SAIR system.

You can use an LSJ or Random Technologies downpipe but youll need to have an O2 sensor bung welded in. There are probably other downpipes too, they will all likely need a bung welded in too.

 

what do you mean bung welded, i was under the influence we can run the cat back exhaust, put a header on, ziptie the sai hose,tune the sai out, and just run a downpipe inbetween am i far off?

 

just get a lsj DP, most have a extra bung already. and will be plenty.

 

the lsj only has one 02 sensor on the dp we have two. you have to drill a hole and weld it in you can do it if you have a welder. and you can get the header also and just drive will a cel on or get it tuned out. i drove around for a week before it came on i just cleared it and it only came on twice a week.

 

If all you replace is the downpipe yo u need to get a bung welded in at the top for your first O2 sensor, if you get a header and a DP obviously this isnt an issue because the header will have an O2 bung.
