Question about GMTech 2

I know there's a lot of smart and logical people on here. I hope someone can help. I was a GM dealer today to get my car scanned for issues. They say there gm software won't connect to my ecm? How is this what does this mean. 5 shops here in town can't help me. I just want to know why it won't connect and what can I do about it. I mean there gm they just don't know where to start?

It could possibly be a pcm issue but I've also seen a lnf that was going to get tuned he disconnected the on star and hptuners wasn't able to connect. I beloved it had something to do with the can bus network

This!^^^^^^

I took mine to a dealer for a noise when coasting. He looks at it and comes back and says he bent an a/c line or something that was touching my fire wall. I was speechless, I mean how can someone be so utterly retarded. Needless to say, it did nothing for the noise and I never went back.

Did they check the cig lighter fuse? Just throwing that out there. If the 10amp fuse for the cig lighter is blown the OBDII port will not function. would randomly happen in my cobalt.
