from my experience, an intake is an intake, as long as it is a good name brand and nothing ebay special you will be just fine. the only problem is if you have a 2.2 with the SAI the only intake that will accomadate for it is the K&N short ram

And just what exactly is wrong with the ebay intake?? I have it and it works fine. And I have had the other brands...the only difference is the name and how it looks.

Use the search button up top. Just search general terms like SAI and you will find practically any info needed. If not, then ask.

i looked it up and i don't have the second tube by my airbox, so that means I don't have SAI.

The first two links that I posted, The K and N with obviously just sit right on top of the engine, will the Injen go down into the wheel well? Sorry guys, I knew at all of this.

Ok. Since you did some research ima help you. The K&N is what is known as a Short Ram Intake (SRI) and is great for low end tourqe and for those who live in area with high water problems on the roads. The Injen is what is known as a Cold Air Intake (CAI) which is great for mid to high end power and great for pulling cold air because its sits down inside the front bump. However, the injen is a little different because it can be converted to a SRI. It is the only company that does it. I have it and love it. Also Aaron at turbotechracing.com is a vendor on here and is a great guy to work with. GL to you.
