Question for those with a 2.4 tb

How much low end did you loose? Did you gain much in the mid range? If I install and tune for one and I don't like it do I have to retune to install a stock tb?

I would like to do this but if I loose to much low end I don't wanna do it.

Yea you won't notice a difference except for the tune if I were you save the time and add the 2.4 intake mani with the tb and do full exhaust and then you will notice.

If you tune for the 2.4 properly you shouldn't notice a low end loss. I have 2.4 IM/TB and a full 2.5" exhaust (catted). I cannot tune properly until I get a wideband but my low end is still acceptable and WAY better than stock. The mid range and high end are beasts compared to stock. Will you tune it yourself or take it to someone else?

What are you using for the tune?

HP tuner. I know I can tune the part throttle using stft+ltft but I just don't have the time to learn the pid right now with two jobs. But here's a listof stuff I DID tune:

Max out speed limiters
Adjust ETC scalar to 2.4 TB
Disable throttle opening delay
Add 2* timing to each octane table and adjust for any (non existent) knock retard
Adjust WOT 3-4 shift to 116mph
Increase trans pressure across every shift
Reduce shift times very slightly
Disable rear O2 sensor code
Set PE delay to 200rpm

Wouldn't an lsj be overkill on stock cams?

Does anyone know, if for some reason I don't like it can I swap back without a retune?

Nope you would need to tune it back. The computer has to know the size of the throttle blades especially on earlier models IIRC. But you'll love it anyway

I figured that, I guess if you tune for x amount of air at x% of throttle it'll get just as concussed if you suddenly throw y amount of air at x% of throttle. Oh well.
