quick boost gauge help

i have my boost gauge running straight to my intake manifold but it leaves an empty snout on the bypass valve.. am i suppose to run a 1/4 hose from the bypass valve into the top of the manifold where i have my machanical gauge hose attached and then tee into that line? i have a boost/vac gauge.. thanks guys. i saw a how-to ann dit wasnt very clear

im taking about a supercharged application, theres a nipple on the top of the lsj intake manifold

Yes, your boost gauge vacuum hose should be on the nipple on top of the intake manifold. On the black cannister on the blower, the top hose should be going to the sc and the bottom (smaller nipple) should be left open to vent to the atmosphere.
