Quick Exhaust Question

Are the exhausts for the 2.2s (05+) all the same? Reason I ask is I'm looking at Pacesetter headers and they say they're for the 05-06 and I have an 08. Will it fit my car?

Thx

no, some 06 cobalts have secondary air injection, which you would have noticed when you installed your intake.
it should fit since you got an 08

As long as you dont have SAI it will fit your car (Secondary Air Injection)

On TTR it says that the Pacesetters are not for models with air injection. That means that it WILL fit mine right?

Headers are not all the same.....

None of the well known header makers offer a product that fits with SAIR. This doesnt mean you cant use a header, just that you need to remove the SAIR for a header to work.

Even more important to note is that there was a change in coolant lines on the rear of the engine, and these do affect header fitment, chances are if a header says its for 05-06 only it wont fit on 07-09 because of the different coolant pipe routing. If you see that a header is listed for certain years only, the coolant lines is why.
