...no. there is practically nothing computer wise for the 2.2l. Only unless you wanted to make a custom tune with the AEM unit.
also if you have an 07, a company called HPT might be coming out with a tuning software

most of the chips on ebay are just resistors wired into the maf to change the signal coming from it. It will lean out your a/f ratio and gain you power that way... Of course this isn't safe at all and very uncontrolled.

it does make it richer. most of them wire into the IAT sensor to make your car think it's colder outside (like -80) so it throws in more fuel. 13:1 is the optimal AFR for performance so that's what it does. many times you'll notice that putting one on your car will disable your a/c - cuz who needs a/c in -80 weather.
