I like the white under the hood. Why did you mount the TB upside down though?

I'm only having idle issues at the moment.

The mk I base tune was very very very rich and blew black smoke from the exhaust lol, plus the idle was crap for being an automatic, so I had to brake boost to slow down/keep rpms at a stop.

I just got a revision from vince, which I dub mk II, and its less rich, no more black smoke from exhaust but the car still has idling issues.

For example, if I were to get into my car right now and start it from park like always, the AFR goes crazy and then car dies. I wonder if I were to clean the MAF that will solve the damn mystery.

I will be doing e85 later on....

But back on the subject at hand;

Now per this diagram, 744 is a hose that goes from the manifold to ? (I currently have that going to the boost gauge)

922, is the picture that I posted above (black canister)
912, is hooked up to the supercharge per the pix above again.

But what is confusing me is 911, which I believe is the mystery hose that should hook up to what?

Nothing. Its not use on the 2.2 s/c set up.

Also I wouldn't go spraying anything and trying to clean the MAF. Could make it worse. MAF is a hot wire and sensitive to cleaners. Just give Vince time and let him try to tune it out. Patient is key to tuning

Updated status, the mk ii tune was loaded yesterday and it has the shifting much smoother. Also the car no longer shoots black smoke. But I still am giving idling issues at a stop so I'm break boosting still til vince fixes the problem

What room issues are you speaking of when relating to mounting the throttle body the right way? I didn't have any problems...

It sounds like you have wiring issue more then a bad TB. I'd recheck your wiring just in case. I used Beck's build thread for Raidens and his came out good

this is what I was thinking. I actually used an adapter from ebay I found and had no issues.

zerosk8ter83 I'd suggest re-going over your wires and soldering them if not already. As important as the Tb is to drivability, it will last longer over time.

So update on the idling issue, drewbroo and myself flashed mk III and the car wasn't runnable at all. So we flashed back mk II. Seems like one concern was the MAF being so low on the intake, so we mocked up some piping which he had lying around for his LNF, didn't fix it. The second issue was the terminal velocity for the MAF, which was fixed after we slapped in his old K&N cone filter and removing the piping from earlier. The car is idling easier now with the AC on level 2 but it still dies at a stop/park.

I'm a bit worried in running TheRedFerret's LSJ throttle body so I may just deal with it until I have some cash to buy a brand spanking new LSJ throttle body and go from there.

as long as there are no bends around the MAF and as long as its pointing the right direction there shouldn't be any issues with the placement of it height-wise.

are you throwing any codes? what RPM does your car idle at?

I'm now running around 1k now now thanks to drewbroo reflashing mk ii again and working the throttle after the flash. But if I were to drive like a normal automatic and come to a complete stop, the RPMs just drop and the AFR gets rich as hell.

I find myself now brake boosting around 1,200-1,500 to keep the car from dying when at a stop. Its not really a big deal its just annoying/different after driving a certain way for quite some time.

My new plan is to get a new LSJ throttle body to see if that works, I'm too worried to install Rey's tb, since it might be bad or kill my ecu like it did to his
