random /TC & ABS lights

so anyway after a fine night at chuck e cheese I got in the balt with the family and started her up and the wife asks why there are lights on my dash. The damn TC and ABS looked like ******* christmas tree lights all happy, happy in my face. I shurg say it's new to me but not surprising at all and I pull off so down the street we go lights and all. We get a half mile out and I check the brakes and sure enough no ABS. So as I'm rolling up to the next stop light I shift into neutral kill the power and give her a quick reboot. Starts up fine, no lights. This has never happened to me before, however, I am in desperate need to change out my rear brakes (waiting on drums). Could a stuck shoe cause the TC to shut down and take the ABS with it?

I doubt it. For that to happen the wheel would have to be not turning. Abs/tc moniters each wheel when it sees a different speed from one wheel it triggers an event (abs or tc) get the codes read, and if it doesn't happen again i wouldn't worry about it.

This used to happen to me in my neon a lot. Come to find out it was that the key in the ignition would get into a position where the computer didn't know if the car was running or in test mode ( as you turn the key on all of your dummy lights flash for a second ). I just jiggle the key a little and they'd all go out. Don't know if that would be the case here though.

I'd check the wheel speed sensors.
