Yes sir. Most of is anyway. The turbo is a GT3071R. Looking at how steady the boost holds it looks like its got a little more room to grow in power, but its defiantly out of its efficiency range looking at how much air its flowing. Direct injection engines are known for having higher power and torque outputs compared to their MPFI counterparts. Thats just because of its ability to precisely control the amount of fuel injected and a few other things but thats a big factor. My torque readings always stay close to my power readings because of the larger stroke the 2.2L engine has compared to smaller engines. This is one of the reasons larger engines start putting out loads of torque at such low RPM.

and its because of the big turbo and the high compression 10;1 with that turbo makes tq happen

And now I'm sad...I wanted to make my car a total sleeper going SC, but of course, I can't ever get that kind of power...not to mention I didn't want to build the engine, but I'm starting to have second thoughts.

SC'ed with a goal of 200-215whp to start with and end results of almost 300whp with a few internals would be hella nice...can't imagine over 500whp...that's insane.

I was out with a buddy who's got an 02 Z06 that has cams and full intake/exhaust plus tuning...he's putting maybe 420 to the wheels right now. Can't wait to tell him about this...lol.

It will be more fun, but running around 300whp is pushing it for the internals a lot of ppl have pushed it close to that number without building the internals.

Yeah I'm hoping for about 225whp with the stock internals. I would rather tune it for reliability since it's my DD. Later on, if I decide I want more and shoot for closer to 300whp, I would for sure work on the engine to support it.

The reason I want 225whp is when I bought the car I had it on a dyno to get a baseline...112whp with the auto. I'm guessing with my intake, full exhaust, tune...I'm probably around 125-130whp...so right where a manual would be stock. Maybe a tiny bit more if I'm really lucky. I just want to get it a little over 100whp difference from stock to boosted.

I actually got my car to push 225 with a stage 2 pulley. than 263 with a 2.9 pulley on stock internals. than when we went 2.6 pulley we blew the piston up lol
