reflash over trifecta

ok so previously my car was tuned by vince at trifecta. the tune is still on the ecu and i'm trying to get hpt... hpt can't reflash over my trifecta file for some reason... does anyone know why or what i can do to get retuned? 08 LS 2.2 needs to be tuned for SC stage 2

flash the trifecta back to stock it seems hpt regards trifecta files as custom os because he has things unlocked that HPT doesnt support

yea are you making sure to do a full write? also if you find a stock file for your car you might be able to do it with HPtuners

I had Vince send me a stock file and I have the tuning software. Ryze from here is going to be tuning it with hpt. You're saying the hpt cable should work with trifecta program?

you ll need ez cable and you ll need to force full flash your stock tune.

if you install a stock tune by the normal way, you wont be able to tune with hpt

no you'd need a stock HPT file for your car and do a write entire you should be able to write entire anyways.. idk maybe the 2.2's or 08s somethings weird

So basically so can wipe my ecu to stock with hpt and then write new tune with hpt?
