To Resonate or not???
To Resonate or not???
here is my plan, custom 2.25 exhaust with magnaflow muffler and ZZP header/dp but I can't decide if I should buy a new resonator/keep the old one or just completely get rid of it. I want to keep it from being raspy. What do you think?
it depends on the "sound" laws in your state. Like in VA (if you dont want to get herassed by the cops and appear in court all the time) it would be ideal to leave the stock one on or upgrade. Taking it off will make the exhaust louder. The resinator also helps to tone out the raspy ricy sound that you hear out of the honda's that just go straight pipe
I have a 2.2, you dont think 2.5 is too much? i think i'm gonna go ahead and get a new resonator but still want more opinions so vote everyone!
look at where this is posted

imho resonatorless cars are a huge
especially domestic.
now catless is a different story, i think that's the absolute verge of too much less-ness (lol).
just get a new resonator. magnaflow sells them. along with everything else that you need for a custom exhaust. cats, muffs and resonators.

especially domestic.
