Rod doesn't fit in Piston???

I have the Eagle rods for the 2.2 and Diamond pistons also for the 2.2. The rod goes in almost all the way but get wedged near the bottom. Should I just get the rods machined and balanced again or is something wrong? PS. Wrist pins fit fine for both.

No in the piston were the wrist pin mates both parts

One more thing... Are the stock piston rings still strong enough to handle 350-400+ HP?

Ok. I took the rods to get machined so that solves that... Now for the piston rings. Cant use stock rings sooo the total seal kit is the only way to go ya know if my bore was 3.385 which its not its 3.386... Any one know were to get the correct size?

Stock rings are a bad idea to re-use. My eagles and wiesco's fit just fine.

Never mind that. Was just a thought. One more ? Can I reuse the rod bearings or just replace. And if replace do I need to machine the crank?
