its not the k&n filter, its the SAI. and the only way to get rid of it (making it so you dont have to wait 30 seconds for your car to warm up) is to find a dealer or mechanic with a TechII and get it flashed out of your computer. don't go spend the extra money on a new filter because its not going to solve your problem. as long as the k&n isn't severly over oiled, its fine.

well the dealer would have to be cool about it. most dealerships arent. basically you have to know someone. most likely theyll do it for free or throw em a couple bucks. it all depends. i'd go talk to dealership you dont use first and just dont give them any information except that you own a cobalt ls with sai and you wanna know if they'll flash it out. (and the yr)
