S/C kit?

Does anyone sell a supercharging kit for the 2.2? I did a search but all the posts were really old and they were talking about how they were in development... Thanks

Look at the last two pages for all the parts you need.

I really wish CED would set a cobalt kit that only has the parts and not the ECU tune.

would that same kit not fit in the 2.2 balt? cause as to my understanding from when i was installing it on my car there was a couple wire end that i had to change, i assumed it was because the balt and fire/cavy map/maf were different

the kit will mostly fit. You will need a different throttle body, and a different tune at a minimum

the throttle body is the stock one thats on the car it just get relocated onto the s/c. and when i went in to get the reflash at the stealership, they had some problems with the tech line cause for some reason they got a balt mixed up with a sunfire. so i take it that there is a flash for the balt. as well they mentioned that there was a authentication code that comes with the aftermarket s/c that is needed for the stealership to dl the flash.

thats what they told me cause i had a huge hold up cause they were under the assumption that i had a cobalt and was adding the s/c to that. someone may want to call gm or the tech line to verify but as far as i know there is a flash for the 2.2 balt with the s/c

id check into it man, call your local dealer and then ask them to call the tech line to see if there is a flash for the GMPP S/C kit for the cobalt. worth a try eh.

ok so basicly GM does make a kit for the 2.2 but some modifications would have to be made for it to work in a balt right?

there is NO tune for the cobalt. they have one for the cavaliers and the sunfires, but that is it. any dealer that says otherwise is misinformed (and we all know how wrong dealers often are). I'm not sure how they run the vaccuum lines then on the cavalier kit since i used parts off of a SC cobalt..and if you do it this way, you'll need the larger TB

We have MAF sensor and Electronic Throttle Body. Now the adapter you are talking about, is that to mate the 2.2TB to the supercharger? Cause if so that seems like a big pain in the ass. I would thing we would be better to just put on a 2.4 TB with an adapter plate.
