You say you have a turbo why are you asking about SAI.. and if you Have a 2007 Cobalt "SS"why are you asking about SAI in the 2.2 section...

hes running a 2.2l turbo not a 2.4 also the "ss" is cuz he is turbo i believe self proclaimed SS

 

i dont see how he could have a turbo setup but not know what SAI is... he would have to run into that to put on a tc.

as far as self-proclaiming "SS".. that is just dumb. It's not an SS, it never will be an SS, and that is the end of it.

lol.. i dont even want turbo, i dont want to replace my engine at 50,000 mi. my engine was not built for a tc and im not about to put all new internals in it. i still say proof of said turbo or ban. ah screw it, ban for the stupid SS thing.

 

Anyways look like my 07 does not have the SAI in it, fromt he pics i see on the froum i do not have the extra hose coming off my air box, nor the bracket on my header.

there's nothing different about putting an SS badge on a 2.2 and putting a type-r badge on a base civic hatch...or GT-R on a base sentra. its one of the biggest ricer moves that can be done. i recommend removing it or throwing on a flame suit.

When you saw the TC had no lift shift.... did you ask how it worked? Have you ever asked a question something your car doesn't have?

I have... Maybe he just wanted to know. So that at some point down the line he may be able to talk intelligently about it.

God forbid we want to learn an aspect about other models of our cars. I know how the SC and turbo works. I know how no-lift shift works. Hell, I could prob describe to someone the best way to launch their manual.
