hey everyone, would i pass emissions in connecticut if i delete the sai and get a retune? i still have a cat on my downpipe and i thought sai was only for emission in california or new york?

You may not pass a sniff test, you might have to check to see if all drive tests would complete.

I'm sure you can have the codes and crap turned off if that's all that matters.

Probably greatly depends on your inspector.

so, i live in ct and have a 2008 cobalt ls 2.2l with the sai. i want to get aftermarket headers but will i pass emissions? i thought the sai was just for new york, california smog tests? and if not, why is it possible for a 2008 cobalt without sai able to pass and i cant if i delete mine?

any help would be greatly appreciated!
