UPDATE on the squires turbo systems remote mount instalation
DTP has delayed the finished product till friday this week...
I went up there today and saved myself 190 in labor by installing the injectors myself...
The Trifecta tuning is tuned for 10lbs of boost and 60# injectors so no i didnt put it on the dyno since the turbo install isnt complete... But, i did how ever load up the tune, installed the 60# injectors and reved it up a few times to make sure everything checked out and so far no problems... no cel's
So i can now say im the first 2.2L cobalt tuned and running with 60# injectors....
the transmission tune work's wonderfull, park/neutral rev limiter was adjusted from 4k stock to now 5k... didnt get to test out the rev limiter for while in gear but im sure it works just fine, i'll find that out later this week... maybe, lol
One other thing, Vince told me he moved all my shift points to 7,000 and the rev limiter to 7500rpms

haven't had to do an update tune yet since the turbo is not done so we didnt do a dyno pull... he used a fuel map and timing map from a turbo 2.4 SS and just copy and paste the numbers to the 2.2L tune.
We should only have to fine tune the fuel map and timing since im running the same boost level as the 2.4L ss turbo he got the tune from...
We will be making one dyno pull, data log, adjust tune if needed, dyno pull one more time to make sure its driveable... and then.... street tuning to fine tune it for max power output

Are you running the same turbo as the 2.4? if your not then its going to be off by a bit. I hope it works out but its probably not going to be quick because of logging, making a change and hoping its enough, then doing it all over again. Good luck dude.

dont worry i read your post. but what i was saying is since your turbo is completely different then the 2.4's turbo then its going to be even worse, especially since your engines are different. Your compression is dropped as well. Im thinking you will pull around 250whp on 10psi on your turbo with your current engine mods.

me too rod, lol
yeah, the car is being tuned on the otherside of the country and so far soo good, lol
at this point it checks for the engine that is loaded on to the PDA... the spark plug then "glows" if its connected and then loads up the tune automaticaly... upon completion it then auto loads the transmission tune (if you have an automatic and asked for a TCM tune)

alright i am counting on youto make this work, i have already started my turbo build on the assumption trifeca can tune for it, i will be running a big 16g turbo w/a fmic, set to stock boost, as it is a internally wasegated turbo, will be using stock injectors, cuz i know dam well they arent max'd out right now, will tune after i get it all done, and will see if it needs any fine tuning, which im sure it will ned some adjustments, but i wont be able to tell as i cant afford to pay 50 bucks a dyno, and i dont think the shop will let me keep the car on the thing for me to wait for a new tune, than D/N it, than tey again im not made of money
