SS/SC exhaust on 2.2

does it change the tone of the exhaust at all??? im giving my friend my stock exhaust for her car for x-mas

I disagree on the sound change. I had it on my LS, sounded the same almost. I would MAYBE give it a 1% sound change.

I didn't think the SS/SC exhaust made a sound difference in my car, until I heard someone else driving it. I definately think it's louder, sounded like an electric car with the stock LS exhaust.

I agree that its not a major change, but on my car it definetly sounded deeper and throatier. You're still dealing with a factory muffler and all, but the sound is noticable. I had several people car enthusiasts and otherwise both say, "Did you get an exhaust or something?" after I installed mine.

ya...same with them...just have someone take the resonator out thouhg... sounds way better after that
