anyone know if the ss/sc wing will bolt right up to our trunk or if it has different holes?

I want an SS/SC wing cuase I like how it fills out the rear end, not becuase I think ill get 40 whp lol

 

I dont remember how far the bolt holes are apart, but I liked the look of the ss/sc wing on my ls, here is a pic of it maybe you can get a guestimate

 

Do the wing towers cover up the bolt holes from the lt wing?

 

Yes everything bolts right up and all holes will be covered. One guy in our club has both and interchanges them

what do you think would be cheaper:

a. buying one from a junk yard and having it painted

b.buying a color matched one from GM

it seems like an obvious answer but I know it probly costs over 100$ to get one painted and if im not mistaken their only 200 color matched.

 

if you have a common color cobalt, you might be able to find someone in your area to swap trunk lids with you

 

depending on how good of a deal u can get on a paintjob for the spoiler, that might be ur cheapest bet. OR
you can check out this thread. chances are u will have to be patient if u are just trying to look for a trade, bu then again, it is cheaper then painting....

i found the high wing for $153 unpainted

 

I got my ss / sc wing off ebay brand new in wrapping color painted for 140 shipped. Woot . Although I have since taken it off and put my old mid wing back on :P

I found someone who did basically an even exchange.. i just offered to cover the shipping cost for both so it only cost me about 40 bucks.
