Stage 2 Cams!!!! Im Excited
OK GUYS IM OFFICIALLY CAMMED!!!!!! Hell yessss. The install went like a breeze. Took right at 3 hours to do. I will have a video of it running. I took a few pics with my phone and i will try to upload those. There isnt really much to see on the inside anyhow. I will definitly have a video going in a little bit. It sounds just like i imagined. WMM..WMM.WMM.WMM. I used the trifecta performance tune. It was funny before i tuned it, we started it to make sure the timing was right and it would barely stay running without the tune. So then i put the tune on it really helped it out alot. Right now its idling between 800 and 900. However i think i need to bump it up to 1000 and it will be perfect. Once the computer relearns everything it will run better too. I will prolly try to dyno it soon. The guy at the dealer said that because there is soo much duration and lift it will well surpass 200 HP.
I wanna give a shout out to Turbotech Racing, and Trifecta Performance and GM.

Do you have a wideband hooked up to monitor your AFR? Also do you have a dashhawk to monitor knock as well? If so, you should keep tweaking it until you get as close as possible, then dyno. you want to get as much outta those as you can. I would also go full bolt-ons as well. Get a nice 2.25" exhaust to match that header and downpipe.
Cant wait to see a video of that thing. Glad someone finally did some (more)agressive cam work.

Look at my sig. I have every bolt on they make. and yeah i will be fine tuning it these next couple of days so. The most important things you have to keep in mind is after a cam install, make sure that you hold it at about 1500 for 10 minutes or so to properly break them in, also change the oil after a day or so to make sure there are no metal shards in it.

Right, All you have to do is just hold it around 1500 for 10 minutes or so and they is the break in period. After that your ready. I have to be somewhat carefull because i'm using the stock springs. Every body tells me that i will be fine because the car only has 30,000 miles on it and the parts are still fairly new.
lol damn right Eastern Canada, Western Canada was smart and instead of replacing costly engine and suspension and transmissions ect from rust, we just use gravel in the winter.......which is more expensive?? rusted engine parts or a windshield every year or so??
