I gotta get a vid of my truck. Isky 292 Mega cam in a 283, open headers. Just started it for the first time tonight, sounds so beautiful. Makes my Cobalt really sound like ****.

Thanks bro. I appreciate it. So you have an 07? Yeah it sounds really cool. I love when i come to a stop light, cause when its lobing it makes the car actually jerk back and forth, and its a really cool feeling.

I'm so close to ordering a set of stg1 or stg2 cams but im holding back because I'll likely go turbo next summer so then i'd have to buy the turbo grind cams...dunno if i want to spend $500 for the same mod, twice.. heh

I'd say just go for it. I would recommend highly ordering from Turbotech Racing. They are an excellent place to get cams.

Ya, I'll almost definitely be ordering from TTR. I had a price from them during their "What do you need sale" and ALMOST bought them. Maybe I'll see if they will still give me that price and go ahead with it.

sounds nice man, im staying n/a, i have attempted both t/c and s/c, didnt wanna go thru the ****, but i like the way ur car sounds, has it been tuned yet? sorry i only read the last 2 pages

 

it's tuned but the tune isn't perfect yet.

 

I'm in the process of getting either a 2008 Cobalt SS/TC or a 2005 Pontiac GTO, one or both of the deals should go thru, just gotta decide which one to get. But if something bad happens and I dont get either, I'll probably just get an 08 Cobalt LT.

 

Just watched the video and them cams sound great. Now I think I wanna find an 06 Cobalt rather than get a brand new one, LOL.

should go race a stock RSX Type S or Civic Si. see how you hold up to them now. if you can keep up it will give you a nice idea on how much power your making.

 

I am not talking ****. You have a mods list, it isnt magically going to burst into the low 14's with your setup. Be realistic. What does stage matter anyways? those are under perfect condition on an engine dyno. To the wheels with your current setup you will not touch 200, I dount you will even see 190 to the wheels even under perfect conditions- the wheels are what matters. PM an experienced tuner like XM15 and he will tell you the same, he had a similar setup (minus cams) and made stock crank numbers at the wheels. Cams cant give you more than a 15% increase in power. Learn that.
