stalled at 60

ok so i was driving home from skoo at like 60 today when i went to turn the steering wheel wouldnt turn. so i wasnt paying much attention and my car had stalled. so i turned it back on and the check engine light was on. so i pulled over and let it sit and turned it back on and reved it a little bit and it seemed 2 struggle a little bit before it hit 2k rpms. idk wats wrong and i didnt just want 2 reset the computer or deleted it because i dont want it to happen again kinda dangerous lol. i got clipped n my back panel a few days ago nd maybe it had something to do wit it. anyone know what it could be

You have an 06, and its stock. Take it to your dealer and tell them to fix it.

he just cleared the code. check the maf make sure its in tight. if it doesnt work, try getting maf cleaner and then putting it back in, then disconnect battery for 15 minutes and you should be good

it could be you computer sensors, most likely something witht the air intake or your manifold by the way you describe the situation. When I got hit in my cobalt my air box was damaged and when I would turn the car on it would stay on for a lil while and it would struggle to hit 2 rpms and then it would just die, when I took the box off it ran fine (which is not suggested, i just needed to get it on the tow truck). Good Luck

well i didnt get hit in th front, someone lady cliped me as i was passing her scraped up the hole side of my car. from the door back nd then i spun out of control nd took out a sign. but it wasnt a bad crash lol

so i went and took the sensor out and tightened up pretty good. but im still taking it in to the deal cause i only got a few thousand miles left on the warranty. but ty for the responses. yall have been very helpfully
