stock electric boost gauge on 2.2

how would i make this work or do i have to go out and buy a mechanical gauge? i just spent $50 on the stock A pillar and gauge, id like to use it. the only how-to i found was switching from stock to mechanical... is it easy and possible to do?

will not work, don't bother it's caliberated throught the cars computer and we lack the proper tuning and the connector to make it work. sorry but your not gonna be using a stock ss/sc(ss/tc) elec boost gauge.

i called autometer about it. the guy said that gm had it programed to work through the ecu. maybe you call em and see if they can sell you the connector at least and go from there.
