How much power are you looking for?
What can you afford$$$$$$$?
Is this your only car?
Do you want to build the engine?

Not looking to do an engine build so 250hp is the top for internals.
As for money 2000 before new clutch and tune

^exactly.
but just noticing the difference between NA vs. boosted on this car is enough (for now) and the m62 is a great choice.
More would always be nice, But the right way, snail and built motor.

Whats the car for?

Daily Driver:
SC all the way, that wide torque band and power on demand is the ****. And for the OEM like reliability that comes with a good tune and the SC.

Track Car
Turbo all the way, no compromises for big top end power here.
