on that note, once i learn how to use the AEM for tuning on my automatic 2.2 ill shoot a video on how to use it and what to do for anyone else that has the stage 1 cams in. When i get back from deployment (if i have the extra cash on hand) ill buy some stage 2 and 3 cams, have them put in and do a stage 2 and 3 cam tune for the automatic 2.2's on here that are wanting that kind of set up. Keep in mind stage 2 and 3 cams are for N/A and nitrous, nooooo boost. You want boost go with the stage 1 cams or the turbo grind cams, stage 1 cams are extreamly close to the same grind as the turbo cams

does anyone know if the 03+ cavaliers use the same fuel delivery system as the cobalts? GM offers two different supercharger kits for two different fuel delivery systems for the cars

The two different versions is because of the 02 LS Sports which had different length fuel injectors. The 03-05 version had spacers just like the current production Cobalt does.

that is a negative. cavy's have a return style fuel line (in other words un used fuel flows back to the gas tank from off the fuel rail)

Cobalts have a non return style fuel system, it just maintains a constant preasure on the fuel rail w/ out going back to the gas tank.

that was because the cavy switch from the 2200 DOHC motor to the Ecotec 2.2 which called for different fuel system, but the return style is still maintained in the cavy's

mainly because of the supercharger kit GM offers for the cavy, they didnt want it to be compatible witht he 2.2 cobalts becuse that would kill the sales of the SS/SC. get the cobalt 2.2 at avg 16k plus the 2k for the supercharger kit makes it an 18k car with just as much power as the cobalt ss/sc, now you see why they changed the fuel system and computer ECU software that way you would be forced to buy the SS/SC for 23-24k when they came out. GM may do dumb things but when it comes to making money, they are not so dumb about that.
