even if you get past any fitment issues you are still left with having to figure out the tuning.

therea a company that makes a supercharger for a 2.2 ecotec im assuming they mean caviler but its worth finding out its at www.crateenginedepot.com. or you can do what im going to do and just build your own, not the supercharger but buy the supercharger off an ss/sc and custom fit everything and at crate engine depot they have the stage 2 upgrade kit for it to put around 245 at the engine.

also if you go to http://www.gm.com/company/gmtunersou...build_book.htm

thats the gm issued power book for cobalts. i got the idea to build my own kit from my budy who went to a car show and got a cd on how to do it.

It's the same supercharger you would find on the 2.0 SS/SC. I went to the site and didn't see what you were talking about but if you saw a supercharger kit, it's for the cavaliers/sunfires (j-bodies). There really shouldn't be any type of custom fitting, it should actually be straight forward. The head has the same bolt patterns for the manifold, the only part I'm not sure about is the pulley belt on how many ribs it has.

The j-body kit will NOT work on the Cobalts, even if you modify parts to fit. The ECU's for the Cobalt are completely different.
