m90? what made you choose that instead of an m62? Either way it should bolt right up to your intake mani with 4 bolts, I think. At least the m62 does.

it would have to be custom no one has done it. the m62 on the other hand, has been swapped on to 2.2's all the time. threads all over

Im thinking m90 would be overkill on a 2.2. I suggest m62, since you already have some bolts ons, you would probably need to start working on internals. m62 or m90 with your bolt ons you would probably be close to if not over 250hp at the crank.

i hope youre building your motor the m90 may be too much for the stock 2.2 internals not to mention it may not even fit under the hood

Yes it will.

You will also need a bunch of other things to make it work. Your going to have to move your coolant I believe or else your intake wont fit and you will need injectors, a tune, pulleys, probably a new TB. Check out the zzp sc kit or find some of the 2.2 sc builds on the site.

no it will not....

it needs to bolt to an LSJ intake manifold. However, that and the TVS are the only two SCs that have manifolds that will bolt right up to an ecotec block.

Theres a good amount of work involved, as well as numerious build threads and a couple how tos. Check the stickies in the 2.2 L61 section

There's a sticky up for this section that has how-to's and many many build threads. These build threads will help answer your "which parts work" and "what have other people done" questions:
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-2l-l61-performance-tech-45/l61-lap-turbo-super-forced-induction-build-thread-208355/

@Hyper, read any good threads about bolting a TVS to a plastic mani lately?

when i finally got my bonus which the first payment was 7500 i think it ended up being 5200 after taxes. i dont know what branch youre in but in the AF unless you are married you are required to live in the dorms until you are an e4 so you only make around 1600-1700 take home but thats AF so other branches may be different

hmmm...m90 cobalt...better yet, a genV m90 cobalt...hmmm...its a 1.5l blower...but idk what the fastest you can spin it is...would be cool...would need a customer manifold...or have the LSJ one modified to work with a m90 flange, long as everything lined up with the pulleys and made some sort of TB adapter, it could work...but im probbaly over thinking this for the simple folks...but in theory...cut the m62 portion of the lsj mani off, weld on a m90 flange someone, make sure its welded so the blower lines up correctly for the pulleys, make a TB adapter...ahhh the possibilities

i just got it yesterday, cleaned it up, drained the oil out, clean up the inside...but idk if i want to put it on my car..i dont know what the fastest you can spin this blower is...its 1.5l vs the 1l from the m62 and the 1.3l from the tvs, but at the same time is a older model...so yeah...
