so i went against a ss turbo today bone stock and actually beat him... but tied when he used the no lift shift... i was impressed has anyone beat one of these before?

ya im figuring he was a bad driver. but i will admit my little ls has suprised me a few times lol. and i know this is out of the blue, but if everyone was to decide between the zzp midlength combo or the weapon r race headers which one would you choose? price not meaning anything and just wanting good sound and performance with durability? thanks guys sorry i havent said anything in a while its been crazy for me these past few days

well im faster than a ss s/c for sure. but like i said he was bone stock nothing on it. and i didnt mention this but i would assume it plays a part but he had two other people in the car. i had one passenger.

I READ the whole thread and there is nothing that states he's boosted. You = FAIL. You assumed he has a m62.

No I just was more focused on what his power adder was, not specifics. And you can search under his name too, its not hard.

 

Actually, you stated what he owned. He never confirmed or denied your statement. Therefore, I was under the impression that you we're assuming what he owned. You said read above posts to figure out what he had and I did. I didn't see anything about what his mods were other than what you posted. Sorry.

 

I don't see that beating many LSJ's esp if that dyno was off as much as the first,
PS. A header wont net close to 40hp.

 

I read the whole thread before posting anything, it doesnt say anywhere what was done to his car..... only thing about any mod. is stating a M62, never said it was installed.. HP of the car etc... so there fore it is hard to believe... got a couple buddy's with the SS/TC, that's why i want to know the mods.

 

Please do comment on ur mods. I would love to see what all u have done to ur 2.2 to beat a SC

 

im sorry guys! ive been away a while! yes my mods are 2.2l ls with m62 blower 2.8 pulley, 60# injectors, cai, dual pass, one step colder ngk plugs, cat-back exhaust, and trifecta tune. i think thats it just as far as engine wise... and yes 06_ion is right about the m62 cause he helped with info when i was putting the blower on. but my bad for not posting it! i know there are many quick ss s/c out there im not baggin on any of them! matter of fact theres one where im at its a ion redline with a tvs and i know hed kick my ass haha. im just saying for a ls with roll up windows im proud haha. matter of fact though i got another ss s/c with intake and exhaust. im close but i max hp at 226.6 to the wheels. and best torque to the wheels was 215.9. i was running really rich at the time like kinda bad rich so i think its a little better now hopefully!

i meant i beat a ss/sc tonight on the way home with a intake and exhaust.

and i figured about the header thats what the guy at the dyno told me lol. but what do you think like the zzp midlegnth would help me out with? how much gain you think? i have the stock headers
