To those of you with short shifter for 2.2

I am thinkin about getting the short shifter for my 2.2. I think its made by tcm performance or something like that. I just wanted to make sure it wont void my warranty for any reason and my computer wouldnt let me download the install instructions so i also wanted to know how hard the install is. Thanks.

I have not installed one on a cobalt yet but i did read the instructions and it looks like a good 30-60 minutes max....not too hard.

A link would be wonderful. I've scoured the internet and have seen nothing of TCM performance aside from a physical location by google.

TCI yielded nothing as well.

Maybe he is talking about the TWM Performance short shifter.

I've installed a B&M on my Red Line and after looking over the directions on the TWM website the install looks pretty similar. I think there is a little more to on the 2.2 but I don't think it is going to be that difficult.

ok i bought the one on ebay for like $50 and it works perfect. its the same short shifter but your not paying $100 more for the name. It shifts perfect and is real smooth. takes about half hour to install and real easy by reading the twm's instructions.
