That sounds like its a little far. save some wire and ground it to like the headlight bracket or something :P

You are the guy that made the same comment to the first guy that chopped holes in his stock airbox and called it the airbox mod.

The theory is sound, its inexpensive. if there is a MININMAL gain, then its worth it.

There is no room for comments and a mentality like this on this site. Beneficial or not it has no impact on you, so why do you even car, but just for the sake of it I hope it works, and I hope you eat your words.
