Got an 07 Cobalt 2.2 TB for my 06 ion 2.2

Got it port n polished and the guy even put a great finish on it, anyways i really want to use this TB, BUT

07 cobalt= 6 prong drive by wire
06ion= 8 prong drive by wire..

What am i to do?

 

ive never seen any sort of adapter harness for that problem,there might be a way to wire it for a 6 wire,not sure though :/

 

damn i was hoping for some sort of adapter harness....
If not i can just hope that when i get the schematics that on the 8 hub 2 sets of wires are duplicate grounds or something that i can just plop into the same socket to cut it down to a 6 port

i kinda need the 8 pin as well if thats possible at all

 

I only have the 6 pin cause of alldata and im 2007 :/

 

no chance youd want to buy this ballerific TB if i cant fix this issue would ya? its port n polished by tool and hand, and its been added a finish coat to the outside

to be honest man i dont know?I know a buddy of mine had to buy a 2.4 TB from the dealer and it was like 250,I would say 150obo but thats just a wild guess

 

I have an 8 pin and I need a 6 pin if you were up for a trade?

I have a low mile 2.4l throttle body 8 pin. The tb is in excellent condition and is much larger than my stock 2.2l tb. Would you be interested in trading?

 

pretty sure i cant use an 8pin... i have a 5 pin and my 2.4 Intake mani is a 5 pin as well i think
