I understand why you say this, but youre not seeing all the pecies to the puzzle. What I'm working on is a solution that any cobalt can "Bolt On". Not everone is capable of soldering and putting on weather shieled cable ends, and if they eff them up... Well that engine harness isn't cheap, nither are the connectors.

I know someone running a 2.0 TB but its not a direct fit.

the 2.4 is electrically the same as the 2.2 ETB so no issues there.

it will go into limp home mode, but for a different reason. your engine will get more air at idle with a larger TB, causing the ecu to flow a bit more fuel to help maintain a 14.7:1 idle afr. this however, creates more power at idle, causing the car to idle above 100RPMs, which tells the ecu that there is an air leak

Look up what a IAC does.

When you're at idle, your throttle plate is closed.

hmm...i recall this is what CED stated when they were explaining why they couldnt sell a kit with the 2.4mani AND the 2.4 TB...now im confused
